Ok so I've been on the mod for a few days off and on. I have changed a lot. HEHEHE. The cockpit will be gone tomorrow, its just because I wanted to see what it would look like. I thought it looks hella' better!!
Heres a few shots of what I got. Hope you like them and I will be doing the UN Spacy and The Zentradi version. Also I am going to begin the work on one Fz series ship this week. When I have a start I will start a new post with shots and some info.






As you can see I decided to go with the spec. version because after I saw the "Macross Design Works" book the other model was not good enough. I feel the M3 screenshots were a let down as far as reference. Well, at the time, they were all I had. Thanks to Fernicar's the model has improved. Without him I would not know about this great book.

This is the final on Jet Mode. I will probably lower the canopy and add a few antenna and the forward lasers. That's really quick stuff to do though. Let me know if I need to change anything.





The angle shots are perspective and tend to look a little off before rendering. This is the 4th, from scratch, revision of the VG. I wont lie I'm not looking forward to another revision. Takes about 4-5 days depending on available time. I will be moving on to the Gerwalk today. Also I have begun work with the Feios. The basic curvature of the mecha is proving difficult. I will succeed though. I do not give up, ever. When I have something substantial on that I will post, as always.

OK here's two more shots with the forward lasers (on the nose cone) and lowered canopy. This will be the last unskinned shot of this model for a while the next batch will be the Gerwalk and at the end of the process a video of the final in game mod. (Still quite some time away...as I have just begun to learn UV mapping and animation)

This is it Gerwalk Final. I have noticed that when I start on a new mode for this VG, I keep changing things in the other mode. Haha Well the cockpit has again changed. The last one was very old school Zentradi, the new one in more U.N. Spacey. This is the one I'm planning on keeping. I have included the new shots for both Modes.

Yes, I plan to thin the legs and flip the lasers on the hips the right way. Seems like I was a little rushed to get these shots out.
